Not your Typical Hedge Fund
We are looking to partner with individuals that believe in my vision for investing and want a more personal Manager/Investor relationship. I plan to achieve this by providing a simple fee structure and limited partnership agreement to keep my back-office expense low. This lower cost approach means higher returns and more savings passed onto the investor. To Provide this service I am limited to managing up to $25 million for a select number on individuals.
Our goal is to provide better returns than the S&P 500 with less volatility. Most Hedge Funds charge an AUM fee, even if they have a negative return. Not only do I not charge an AUM fee, but I don’t collect a performance fee until the hurdle rate of 6% is achieved. This means I don’t make money unless you make money. I then collect 35% of the returns after the hurdle rate. Please see the comparison in fee structures below.

Meet Cavan Carlson
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the full support from my beautiful wife Jennifer. We were married in 2007 and knew we wanted a life less ordinary.
